Also read about Fiambre here. This dish isn't among my favorites but for some Guatemalans it's the highlight for the month of November! :)

3. The school year in Guatemala runs from:
A. August - June
B. September - June
C. January - September
D. January - October
That's right! This means that all of the students are now on vacation! Once many children turn 10 or 12, they look for a job or help out with a family business during vacation. So for most, it isn't exactly like a summer vacation in North America. Graduation is also a very big deal here and involves a very formal celebration - everyone gets very dressed up!
